The Fine Food Australia event is the perfect occasion to discover the latest brands and products that are moving and shaking the industry.

Australia's pinnacle food industry event has been in full swing at Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre since Monday and wraps up tomorrow.

For many, it's the ideal time to review where they are at and take a look at where things are heading.

One thing is for sure the industry increasingly agrees that fine food and chemicals just don’t mix.

In this post pandemic world safety, reducing waste and sustainable actions are critical considerations. It makes no sense to use even more chemicals when a TGA registered, HACCP and Australian Organic certified alternative are readily available.

Recognising this years ago, MCEC has installed several eWater systems to provide excellence in food safety, reduce chemical cost usage and provide a more sustainable forward looking workplace.

Indeed MCEC is the first convention centre to be awarded a 6-Star Green Star environment rating by the Green Building Council of Australia.

Executive chef at MCEC Peter Haycroft says

“We’ve got a great reputation, and eWater helps us to maintain that reputation. If I walked into a kitchen that didn’t have eWater I’d be looking into getting it in there..."
