Effective anti-viral Sanitiser proven to perform

eWater anti-microbial Sanitiser has been proven to be highly effective against bacteria and viruses. Produced using electrolyzed water technology eWater is a safe, natural and environmentally friendly alternative to conventional chemical and alcohol-based sanitisers.

Looking for a safer, natural sanitising solution?

Safer and environmentally friendly, eWater is unlike conventional sanitisers that are used for handwash, surface sanitising and food safety. It is produced from all-natural ingredients, is gentle on skin, safe for the environment and naturally biodegrades.

eWater kills bacteria and viruses using electrochemical properties. These properties act to breakdown and rupture bacterial cell membranes and destroy cells without the need for harsh conventional chemicals or alcohols. The same properties are effective against viruses by inactivating surface proteins, destroying of the virus envelope and viral RNA.

The problem with chemical sanitisers

Currently, there are a variety of sanitisers approved for disinfection; although, many of these chemical compounds raise concern related to workers health and safety and proper disposal. Some ingredients (including quaternary ammonium compounds, hypochlorites and iodine-based compounds) are toxic and residue must be rinsed off.

In fact, quaternary ammonium compounds (QACs) are known to be a leading cause of contact dermatitis in the workplaces and exposure to QACs as known to cause other serious and preventable health effects. These may include:

  • Triggering of asthma symptoms in people who already have asthma or new onset of asthma in people with no prior asthma.

  • Eye and mucous membrane injuries from splashes or contact with mists, and

  • Oral and gastrointestinal injuries from swallowing solutions containing QACs.

QACs are used extensively in health care settings to clean noncritical patient care items (non-sterile medical equipment that may come into contact with intact skin but not mucous membranes) and environmental surfaces. Other industries in which they are approved and widely used for their anti-microbial properties include food service and hydraulic fracturing. QACs are also used in cleaning homes and offices.

In routine cleaning, where surface contamination with pathogenic bacteria and viruses does not present a hazard, QACs and other disinfectants are usually not necessary or recommended.

Proven and Effective

eWater Sanitiser and other electrochemical based sanitisers have been proven extensively in both research laboratories and in commercial application around the world. Due to this efficacy and benefits of being a safe and environmentally friendly alternative to conventional chemicals, this technology has been accepted by many national authorities including the Ministry of Health in Japan, NHS in the UK and FDA in the United States.
