Stunning Sustainability at Stones of the Yarra Valley & Meletos

With uninterrupted views across vines to the blue-tinged Great Dividing Range, Stones of the Yarra Valley is located on one of the most picturesque and historic properties in the Yarra Valley.

Presenting a series of beautifully restored original buildings dating back to the 1860's, Stones of the Yarra Valley is home to two superb restaurants – The Barn and The Stables at Stones - a breathtaking chapel and a converted dairy. With its beautiful surrounds, seasonal menus, extensive regional wine lists and impeccable service, Stones of the Yarra Valley has developed an outstanding reputation as the regions most celebrated restaurant, wedding & event destination.

Located just next door, sister property Meletos offers an Italian inspired 100 seat boutique cafe adjoining the region's latest microbrewery, cider house, private and corporate event space and exclusive accommodation, The Farmhouse.

eWater is proud to be working alongside Stones of the Yarra Valley & Meletos to support their commitment to reduce their chemical footprint. With eWater Systems in their 3 production kitchens, their chefs and owners have taken the admirable step towards sustainable luxury dining.

The precincts in-house styling and creative team have also been applying eWater to flower vases across all venues to keep water clear and to extend the life of fresh arrangements. "The transition to eWater has seen the elimination of chemically manufactured smells, allowing the wonderfully clean and natural fragrances of our floral and foliage arrangements to grace the venue!" says Stones of the Yarra Valley & Meletos' Creative Director, Vonnie Frazer.

Proprietors Steve & Vonnie Frazer are delighted to be part of the chemical free movement.
"To be honest, we were a bit skeptical when introduced to eWater but it has been a great success" says Mr Frazer. "We are so happy to be rid of toxic chemicals and detergents along with their subsequent pollutants and negative health impacts. Our staff love it!"
